Most user require a crystal oscillator output which is TTL compatible, PECL compatible, CMOS compatible or
sinusoidal. Any of outputs can be simply generated by circuits.
The latter four can be generated from a sine wave. The five output types are illustrated in figure. The bold solid lines
are the outputs. There is no standard input voltage for sine wave oscillators, and the input voltage for CMOS typically ranges from 2.8V to 5V.
